Im currently installing a LCD tv onto my wall, ive hiden all the cables and ive just plasterered over these and a old fireplace which i removed. (1st time ive ever plastered!).

The finish is quite smooth, reading the instructions it says that once the plaster is going off and nearly hard, spray it with water and polish!.

How and what do you use to polish it?, the trowel?.

My dad uses a 5 inch brush, dunks it in water, swipes it across the plaster and then uses his trowel to get an even smoother finish. If you was to see him do it, you would understand better.
