any plumbing/mechanical or electrical engineers (help please)

    i'm doing a college assignment and need to produce a specification for the installation of an intrurder alarm, fire alarm and an airconditioning unit (in one room). i'm struggling, can anyone please provide me with a necessary spec, manufacturer name, contact, bs etc? for a small building. works are only on the ground floor

    surely you can just google burglar alarm installation guide etc

    For the AC unit look at a small wall mounted Mitsubishi unit, cant go wrong, and also you can get the condenser/evap etc from them as well.

    Are you looking for an electrical engineer (someone with an electrical engineering degree) or an electrician? :confused:

    It looks like the latter I assume?

    i can do it on my own but as i'm neither an electrical or mechanical engineer, i'd simply get it from a previous tender spec
    however, i thought by asking on here it might be a bit more interesting in terms of options. obviously not.
    i could understand the comment of ''i'd quit the course now'' if i was studying mechanical or electrical engineering only, however, i'm not.
