YES I DO USE GOOGLE AND NO IT'S NOT THERE. I've searched most of this evening to find a hack for it and nothing.

As for short notice, well I didn't buy the damn thing and I knew nothing of it until it was brought back this afternoon.

    Easy tiger, calm down.

If google isn't presenting anything, doubt it's hackable unless you get it modified.

This may or may not work, it's for a similar model and Matsui produce a few models with this hack:

    1) Close door (with no disc)
    2) Using remote control press "setup" (the normal setup menu will appear)
    3) Press "next" (button with >>| on it)
    4) Press "previous" (button with |<< on it)
    5) Press "next"
    6) Press "previous"
    7) The current region number should appear on the top right of the screen
    8) Use the left and right buttons to scroll through and change code to your region of choice (region free is 255)
    9) Press "setup"
    10) Press "setup" again
    11) Press "play" (your player should now be region free)

Allow about 1sec between buttone presses.

Another angle of attack would be to find out an identical model from another manufacturer and search that.

Matsui don't make it, just brand it. There is Yukai which is usually the same. Also the supermarket brands do use Matsui stuff.

    Durabrand
    Digilogic
    Etc..
