    Just got sent this message. It said blah blah blah is not on my list and would I like to receive this message.

    I've never had anything like this before on MSN, so is this a normal thing or what?

    It happens when someone who isn't on your contact list sends you a message. You can choose not to accept messages from people who arent on your contact list in the Privacy settings.
