Anyone else getting page timeouts on the forums tonight?

i've been getting this too. thought it was my bro downloading things, though as some have said it only seems to be affecting ocuk forums

From time to time the forums just bomb out and refuse to load for about 5 minutes, thena ll is well again.

Been doing it for a few months for me, just assumed it was the servers/co-lo wherever the forums live.

I'm on VM and had some issues once in a while yesterday (not been on much today to test), and I've also been having issues with read threads still showing as unread, so hard to keep track of what I have and haven't read yet.

Breaking here as well on Be. Although other sites also seem slow, but none are timing out like OCuk.

It does happen on BT Broadband and I had it from Poland last week. Random pregnant pauses and other sites are just fine.

Happens all the time for me, but I assumed it was because I'm at work using IE8.

looking on other forums it is a problem about DNS Servers with o2.
I have had a google and it says you have to change things through Telnet in the command prompt, but does not say what settings to use, getting a bit complicated for me

Any chance someone from OCuk web team could look at this ?

I have checked it from my house connection (time outs) using Enta ISP
and
I have also checked it from work where the ISP is Be There (time outs) as well

Same here, only on these forums. Both on Chrome and Firefox. Very annoying.
