Used to play both, haven't in a while though. Have you tried either of the well known user mods for R:TW? either: http://rometotalrealism.org/index.html or: http://www.europabarbarorum.com/ both are supposedly pretty good and add new dimensions to the game (although never tried em meself. Also for Homeworld 2 there is a really good Star Wars mod floating around, tried that one a bit and just for the geek enjoyment factor for 10 mins it is worth downloading. http://mods.moddb.com/3430/star-wars-warlords/
