    I've never used a stock photo site but have found an almost-perfect image for only 50p. Is it ok/safe/etc? :p

    Looks ok, seems similar to istockphoto.com but the image sizes are better, might look into swapping to them.

    *shameless bump* I guess no one has used it then? :)

    EDIT: I had a look at istockphoto and it seems pretty good as well. Is it well regarded? I might sign up, but having to buy $10 worth of credits is a bit annoying :( [/cheap student]

    I have lots of experience with Istock photo and must say they are pretty good for the price, also check out unlimited.photostogo.com as its only $99 for a unlimited 6 month subscription - but the photos aren’t as good.

    fotolia looks really good, pretty cheap and good range of photos, i think i will be trying them in the near future.
