Anyone used New Zealand tomtom maps?

Im looking to buy the New Zealand tom-tom map for £38 but have heard its rubbish. Im going for a month and want to rely on something!

Can anyone comment and tell me different? Would save me wasting my money.

depending where your going a need for sat nav is little a few map books would be okay as main routes are so well signed

However my sister has a navman unit out there which seems to work okay and cost $120 iirc which is £55 ish not sure how compares to tom tom maps

Have you just read my mind? I am currently trying to sort out some tomtom maps for my parents for when they go in a couple of weeks, they are doing a fair bit of touring so would be good to get something that covers most areas. IF anyone has any recommendations would be good to hear.
