Anything I can use to polish out small scratches on a Chrome Kitchen tap?

Does your wife/girfriend/partner also use scotch pads like my wife - everything shiny has scratches - no matter how nicely I tell her not to she carries on - when I mention it again she says - I forgot !!

I haven't been able to polish them out up to now so will be interesting to see if we can.

Get an abrasive pad and some WD-40, scrub in a circular motion over the entire piece of chrome. Wash away any residue.

Now you have a lovely brushed chrome effect :D

Bartender's Friend, then Brasso/Silvo if you need. Stuff is like magic.
Remember the chrome is a layer so thin that you actually see the nickel below - the nickel is where the shine is. The chrome plating is so expensive that manufacturers put on the thinnest layer possible to prevent the nickel tarnishing.
