Are there any wifi boosters / repeaters that keep the same SSID?

I live in a 3 storey house and have BT fibre plus with the BT home hub, my smart tv / kodi box in the top room as well as sometimes when on games on my mobile on the top floor can sometimes be a little on the slow side, i do not want a booster that will give me a new ssid though as i'd rather my mobile just be connected to the one ssid and just get a little boost from a booster once im upstairs, is there any device that does this?

All the boosters / extenders i look at all say they give a new ssid.

I'm not sure if i would also be eligible to ask BT if they could send me the new Home Hub 2 with the disc that boosts the signal, I’m not sure if that also creates a 2nd ssid or uses the same one?

Any advice at all please?

No because if it broadcast what it received then it would connect to itself and loop. That is unless it had some form of MAC filtering to not connect to itself but even then 2 could loop.
