My brother want a AMD3 on his desktop case. He only need a new motherboard and a new memory ram to support a new AMD3 socket as he only got £300 cash. Are these order is ok to go ahead with the correct parts.

my brother want a high end board and a high end amd3 cpu chipset as he want a corsair h50 cooler as well but i told him he can have mine but must ask corsair to sent out amd3 bracket.

I don't think my brother isn't fond of expensive intel. He rather to have AMD. No, I wouldn't lend him £25 but his shipping will be free of charge as long he paid me £300 cash to order it myself. (to lemin)
Expensive? It's only £25 more and it's newer technology, will probably overclock higher and will be faster clock for clock.
I have the same Mobo and CPU (had both very shortly after release) and am very happy with both. Both have turned out to be great overclockers, it is always worth conisdering both sides of the arguement though, espeically when 'This Week Only' happens to include some of the parts!
