I know quite a few of the free forum software are written in PHP, but does anone know of any free ASP Forums, they can use either an Access backend or MSSQL.

    Much Appreciated

some others can be found here most of them are either total **** or contain the most bloated code known to man

Most of the ASP-based forums I've seen look really pants, why is that the case? Okay, there isn't the same market for Windows-based forums so hence there's not as much development for them, but still..?! If that Toast forums looked anywhere half-decent it might be worth looking into further but they look like v.early UBB forums

Thanks, I will take a closer look at toast.

I found Snitz which also seems reasonable, not much compared to phpBB and alike :(

yeah totaly agree i have yet to see a really decent forum written in asp,i would imagine there are some fairly nice forums written in .net but havent checked that side of things out

havent checked out the code for the toast forum yet but hopefully it can be easily modified to suit but i seriously doubt it, just looks like one of the better options available
