I've just received my E6300 and an Asrock 775 VSTA and I'm having all sorts of problems with it and my hard drives.
It freezes during the POST just after recognising my Maxtor 80GB IDE drive, so I removed that and then installed Windows on a 200GB Samsung IDE drive. It now refuses to boot from that, even in safe mode.
I have updated to the latest BIOS, but that changed nothing.
Can anyone help? TIA
