ASRock readies Intel Tiger Lake-powered NUC 1100-series motherboards

ASRock's NUC 1100-series motherboards are powered by Intel’s latest Core i3/i5/i7-1100 or Celeron 6305E ‘Tiger Lake’ processors with two or four Willow Cove cores, as well as an integrated GPU featuring the Xe-LP architecture and up to 96 EUs.

Interesting move, slightly curious as ASRock Industrial has rarely been cheap and other OEM’s (Gigabyte) haven’t done that well in the NUC market, Zontac seem to have been more successful and arguably made better/more reliable products, but it’s largely intel’s market or budget players who cater for the niche/ embedded/firewall/HTPC/cheap PC brigade or the bespoke rack mount OEM’s selling into the budget hosting business.

I really think Tiger Lake NUCs will make amazing little machines. Hopefully Intel get one out with some edram on it.
