I've recently built this system
Asus p7p55d
i5 750
4gb (2x2 g.skill eco ram)
Asus radeon 4850
corsair hx520
500gb wd green
It's in a lian li a05nb. All nice except the bugger wont boot.
It passes all the led tests on the motherboard then just stops and shuts down - the "boot device" LED then stays on green. There's no beeps and no video output.
Anyone got any ideas?
My missus has "tidied" the manual away somewhere too. I had it lying around to familiarise myself with it but it's now hidden somewhere obscure. Edit - found the manual - not much help.
If I remove the RAM I get some beeps. Both sticks or one stick I get no beeps.
I've removed the CMOS battery. I'm going to see if resetting the BIOS helps. Edit - that's a negatory.
