ASUS p8p67 Pro - cant seem to turn off the OC Tuner

Anyone got any ideas about turning off/disabling the OC tuner on this board? I have tried to OC a 2500K cpu but values keep reverting to stock.

Under the Ai Tweaker BIOS tab i set the AI overclock Tuner to Manual but then whatever value i type into the Turbo Ratio it resets to stock....

I have tried using the ASUS Ai sofware and chose EXTREME option with autotuner - it ramped things upto 5.0ghz, got BSOD and reset to default again.

Help!

edit: forgot to add that apart from this annoying bug i have not had any other issues with the board - simplest setup i have had in a while.

Update: OK, AI suite seems to work now. I think i was also expecting the overclcock to show up on the bios load screen but realised it wont due to speedstep. When i max out the CPU and check CPUz it is at the inputted OC value (currently at 4.5Ghz).
