i know this is a bit boring, but as i know nothing about this and can not find anything on the net to help i thought i would turn to you guys.

Im getting my first house soon with my boyf and we have no idea how much the utility bills are going to be per month, has any of you got an idea of what it would cost for 2 people, thats the gas, electric and water a month.

Cheers guys, not asking for exact figures just a rough guide. :)

per month ours ( 2 folks ) are

    Gas £40
    Elec £60
    Water £15

I would say that our leccy use is a bit on the high side by most standards though prices have rocketed recently

    Per quarter :-

    Eleccy : £200ish
    Council Tax (Includes Water/Sewage Charges) : £300
    Factors Bill : £160ish
    Phone Line Rental : £36
    ADSL : £75
    Contents Insurance : £40

    Total : £811

That's for me living on my own. However i pay the majority of that by Monthly direct debit, all bar leccy and factors bill.

Edit : Oh and if your getting an actual House, not a flat you don't need to worry about a Factor.
