basic hifi needed

Hello,

Would anyone be able to suggest a setup for a smallish bedroom? I'm thinking of something like a Cambridge Audio amp and speakers and a cd player, the only problem would be how do I connect this to a laptop for playing mp3s?

Budget is very small

3.5mm jack to twin phono cable plugged into the back of the amp.
