Hi all,

t I need to get a bog standard laptop sorted for work purposes. It literally needs to do emails, word processing and online working. It needs to load quickly as the person is working remotely and time is money, but if anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful.

Something like the Asus Vivobook Ryzen 3 laptop would be ideal. Very nice processor for the money. Fast ssd although only 128gb. Full HD screen and comes with free 12months of Microsoft Office. It's 14" so quite compact and lightweight.

Alternatively the lenovo IdeaPad 3 is a good choice.

I think i just looked at that vivobooked mentioned as I need a laptop for my partner who works remotely as such, but when I looked at the specs it said it comes with 4gb ram and that's the max it supports as its also soldered.

It seems a nice laptop for the money, but 4gb might not be good enough.
