I've already looked many times on the official ea forums for posts about how to properly patch your Bf2 if you get the error saying that you need at least 3000mb hard disk space even if you have sufficient space - this was for the 1.12 patch and I tried the manual patching method which resulted in my bf2 starting up the splash screen and then crashing back to the desktop. The new 1.2 patch also still continues this similar problem of saying that I need at least 2000mb hard disk space but I have around 3gb spare which is really annoying. Does anyone have a good solution to this? Or should I try the manual patching method and hope for some luck? It is really irritating having to re-install bf2 and patch etc etc because the patches are so big lol
