They can't seriously expect BF2 to last about 18 months??
It was hard enough getting 1.5 patch out of them (for what it was worth, the server crashers and PID hackers were back in days and the old problems such as glitching into buildings is still there) so keeping it going without further development will be hard.

If they keep the core gameplay the same as BF2, similiar maps, vehicles, weapons but with better graphics/physics, fixed bugs/glitches/hitreg/aiming, they're already 90% of the way there to the best online fps ever.

Every1 seems to have forgotten the AMAZING rank system they had.... i hope above all else they keep that the same.

I'm not worried to much about game play as 1943 is spot on! they missed the mark with bad company tbh m8.

See this is something which irks me about games these days.

Its being released in March 2011 , is that correct? So thats ...what.. almost a year and a half away. Plus whatever development time they have already put into it. Lets be conservative and say they have only done 6 months work on it so far.

So...2 years. 2 years...and all they can provide is 8 ...8 maps. Thats 1 map designed every 3 months. Surely they can provide more than that? 8 maps just seems so few to me.
