beeping pc

    beeping pc don please delete not in correct forum

    just got a call about a pc

    i am not talking about the bios beeps , this pc beeps all the time

    any ideas guys


    could the gfx be the cause its a x1800xt ?

    Check fans, temps and voltages in the BIOS. Some BIOS's repeatedly beep the speaker when fan speeds are too low, temps are too high or voltages are out of spec, to alert the user to the problem.

    Thanks mole I have not seen the pc yet just needed a memory jog ( mine not the pc )

    Depends on the motherboard and the timing of the beeps to be honest.

    just had a email saying the beeps speed up whilst playing games so looks like a heat related problem , not sure of the specs till i eyeball the pc
