Well my items have arrived and I've assembled most of it.

Quick question, I've still not connected AC'97 or HDA, both 9 pin connectors.

I've googled but rather unsure where to stick these, was thinking about the usb connectors, unsure however

Anyone throw me a bone? Thanks

Also, do I need to format my brand new hdd or is it good to go?

OK, well I've assembled it only to get a black screen when the power turned on.

Currently dont have one of those motherboard speakers, however looking in the motherboard manual under DDR3 ram, I see that...

1333mhz ram patriot compatibility has 2 entrys, PSD31G13332 and PSD31G13332H

My ram is PGS34G1333ELK, is my RAM uncompatible?

I've used ram before which isn't on the qvl and its worked fine, but then I suppose the list exists for a reason.

Can you get into the bios? Does it do anything at all or just black screen? Does it make any beeping sounds?

Check all power connections are good and all cards etc are seated properly! Make sure the monitor is connected properly.

Dependant on which gfx card you went for you will need to attach a power cable to that aswell, labelled pcie.

Also are the forn panel/power switch cables attached to the mobo the right way round?
