Best 17" TFT for £150

    Hey up, as the title says whats gonna be the best buy for a 17" TFT with £150 / 160 max available as the budget.

    the 17" market is all pretty much similar nowadays with all the models being based pretty much on either the 8ms TN panel from AU optronics (looks for 500:1 contrast models like thye Viewsonic VP171B-2 and BenQ FP71e+ for example) or the 8ms TN panel from Samsung (700:1, models like the Hyundai L72D+ for example). So pretty much all the models are similar, offering good responsiveness for gaming, but at the cost of quite restrictive viewing angles and movie playback which are inherant to the TN Film panel technology being used. Have you thought about perhaps looking at some of the excellent 19" models like the Samsung 913N and AG Neovo F419 which are only a little bit more?
