unmarked silver EVO seen in brighton by a pal, reg is something quite similar to LX04 LGU (but not that, weve checked)

only noticed it was BIB by the 100+ take of past him on the A23 with lights flashing in the grill and when passed to police guys wearing uniform.

I never knew plod had these? would be a good excuse to join up imho

Essex Police have a pair of fully marked Evo VIII's :)

Only the dedicated traffic team based in Tilbury get to drive these (I know one of the guys in the squad) and they have a lot of training in order to do so!

They have all sorts of cars.

Down south here they have scoobies. I've seen a full marked new scoob too, I know for sure they have at least one silver skoda octavia unmarked car.

That evo was probably part of some special unit dedicated to car crime.

    Scum :(

My dad told me that years ago when he was a young driver he was in a Escort something or other and someone behind was right up his arse wanting my dad to put his foot down...he did and then got pulled over.

Saw a 260 in police outfit in Swansea the other day.

Also, someone on SNet took a pic of an EVO on the M4 - unmarked but with a flip up POLICE sign in the rear window.

    It was an MR400

    Pardon my ignorance but what's a 260?

might mean a FR260? or whatever you calls it (if there is such a thing?)

All I ever see are - Foci, Jag (X and S types), Volvo (V70?), and 5 Series BMWs

Yeah, that gunmetal grey EVO has been known about for a long time

they also have an unmarked merc AMG too.

I have no problem with unmarked cars but i've seen them bait other cars for races at the lights.

There's an unmarked silver Volvo as well. Tried to egg me on, I didn't take the bait so he pulled out around me and then in front. He then sat on the bumper of a Focus. The bloke in the Focus put his foot down and on went the blues and two's shortly after. On one hand I witnessed what the copper did and could have reported it, on the other the Focus driver did about 60 in a 40. Luckily for me, I was almost home and just cruising off boost to cool the turbo. If it had been 5 miles further back down the road I may have been done.

I know not all coppers are like that, but tossers like that don't deserve the job!

Unmarked merc AMG? I don't suppose it's silver is it?

I've come across one - I was behind it minding my own business, appropriate space in between me and him doing the speed limit etc, then he suddenly boots it (I mean really BOOTS it) and the car is bouncing up and down.

I sped up to 60mph as it was going into a NSL and he was long gone so was easily doing tripple digits lol - crazy mofo.

Probably just someone having a play though...

Aye, all the coppers I've met have been good blokes. I'm yet to meet a nasty copper though I do think ones attitude has something to do with the way they behave towards you. :)

Couldn't agree more. I got an SP30 from a copper, he was nice as pie about it. It's the baiting I don't like.

Do the Police get a special deal or something on these high performance motors or do they just buy randomly?

there is a black V reg honda accord type R on the M1 jction 20-23 with the rear spoiler removed, thats been there for ages though, I had a play with a NSX once then slowed down to 80 after loosing it (mpg of course) and it blasted past at about 130, 2 cars infront was the accord, blue lights flashing further down the M1 it was on the hard shoulder, BIB doing their thing.

it is regularly reported to nottingham police for dangerous driving.. .. .. .. ..
