bios update

    hi just got a asus p6td motherboard with bios 0106,can i use the asus updater to flash the bios to 0501 any help would be great as i am abit nooby with this kind of stuff :)

    Dont use the asus update software, its renowned for killing boards, best to use EZ-FLASH from a usb thumb drive.

    You should be able to download the BIOS is a couple of forms. Use the method suggested above as the windows updater is generally renound for killing boards. There should be a load of release notes to go with it and normally the installer will create the USB stick for you. All you will then need to do is boot from it and let it do its thing.
