Bit of a stange one, but how is this possible? Old Asus Z97-WS

So I recently upgraded my PC to a new i5 8600k and Gigabyte Auros Gaming 7 MOBO.

Since my old parts were redundant to me I listed them on a well know auctioned based website.

My ASUS Z97-WS motherboard has sold for £130 within 2 hours, and I have 3 other people ask about it.

I searched online and see other websites selling used versions for even higher prices...!

How on earth can this 3 year old 2nd hand motherboard sell for so much? It's nearly recouped the money I paid for my Z370 motherboard and surely can't be anywhere nearly as good... can it?

lack of supply for z97, make great workstation board for those who need gpu power but do not care about cpu grunt, looks to be good with lots of slots for mining when paired with dirt cheap LGA1150 cpus. would be my guesses.

Motherboards generally die before CPUs do, so anyone who invested in an expensive CPU has two options

    1) Sell CPU and generally RAM, then buy complete new platform
    2) Source replacement board

What do we think then... have I let it go for too little or is £130 a good price?

*Update* - Buyer just pulled out so back on auction, let's see if I get anywhere near £130 again.
