Hi guys,
It's been a while since I last put a machine together so after a bit of advice. I have a case, DVD, HDDs, monitor and software licenses so just after RAM (8GB min), mobo, CPU, GFX Card and PSU. I'd like to squeeze in a small SSD to boot off but not a must.
I don't really game that much, I prefer the Xbox (flame away
) but I do play a little bit of L4D and Football Manager. I'm mainly going to doing dev for Window (on Win8), Android/Node (on Linux) and media streaming.
I've looked at an i3 3220 and an AMD FX6100. Quite tempted by the AMD as the benchmark scores are higher but not sure about real world.
