If you refer to uTorrent, then the 170k file you download is the executable itself. There is no installer.

ahh, but there is a 597kb installation program, but you're saying all i need is the 170kb file and I can shove that on my USB drive and run it on any machine etc?

Yup, I dont see why not at all. No idea why the installer version is larger unless it contains the language packs.
