Hi everyone- I have grown a small seedling for a bonsai tree, at the moment it is about four inches and I presume too young to repot. Can anyone advise me when should I pot it up? And what should I pot it in?

No, if anything it's an essential part of the process.

Just because the tree might be stinted doesn't mean the roots stop growing. You'll end up with all roots and no soil if you didn't repot!

Hi. You let them grow for a couple of years then start the bonsai process. What seedling is it conifer or deciduous? If you google you will get sites that will probably be better able to give advice.
