Hi guys, i've had a wireless network set up for about 6 months now and it's been running really well, however today i 'aquired' a airport extreme card for my iBook it's all set-up and all, when i sit the laptop next to the router i can get a connection however it's only at 30 or 40% strength, when i move across the room it loses the connection completly.

    Where am i going wrong?

Anyone got any more experiance we these airport extreme cards?

Have you connected the antenna for the card?

just that little wire the plugs into the top of the card, should that already be connected to somewhere else at the other end?

It should connect to an antenna that runs through the lid.

no worries, all sorted, realised that i hadn't plugged it in correctly, looked on a couple of mac forums, and saw pictures of how it should look like.

    Thanks for your help though.
