Yep thats right, British
Welll done my man, you're managing to be patriotic to a country you don't even live in, I love it
COR that is FAST!
I spend so much time one these forums i might aswell live there
It is a lovely car the Ultima. Havent seen one on the road though yet.
This pic just cracks me up though.
Ownage. Makes me proud to be a brit.
Wasn't this ages and ages ago?
EDIT - actually they've just shaved a little off their own previous record.
Nice, shame about the looks.
Looks great to me, I wonder if that air conditioning is essential because of heat buildup.
Looks to cost 18k without an engine and unassembled, so 30k with an engine?
Not bad, but it looks like a cheap plastic car a guy with a beard built in his garage.
Whereas the Mclaren F1 looked... like a genuine supercar.
LMFAO you crack me up. I totally agree though. Its like an essex supermodel.....whereas the mclaren is like......carmen electra ok bad analogy. Its a cheap tart and the mclaren is.....the diva.
Fair enough its not exactly perfect supercar looks, still a great idea and they make the assembly part sound easy
720bhp version does a 10 second quarter mile
fugly car but I can appreciate the achievement.
ye but the 600,000 you save could be spent on a porsche carrera and almost a mclaren slr, and you have 3 amazing cars.
it does look fugly but for 30k you have an amazing track beast. that can and has won quite a few events.
I'd take a Veyron tbh
Yea was just gonna post that - distinct lack of Bugatti on that list
Cars worthy of looking at only on that list
Video of the run --> http://www.ultimacars.com/video/UltimaRecord2006.wmv
stunning performance, couldnt care less about the looks...
And they did a 9.9s 1/4 mile recently too
Thats as maybe but they talking about world records for things, although even the Veyron might have trouble beating that 0-60 time.
