Hi there

Its great to see us Brits designing some super-fast cars but like Fox says I think they look cheap and not particulary nice. A supercar should be drop dead gorgeous.

For me its gotta be the Saleen S7 which I think comes 2nd place to that Ultima as its 0-100-0 is only 11.2s.

For me that has true super car looks and an engine sound that is just un-matchable.

A Caterham R500 did hold the 0-100-0 record for a while. Not sure why it is not listed on the Ultima site.

Interesting thing I read earlier whilst showing my brother in law this information (mates with Richard), was that I never knew the ultima was intially designed and built by Noble, later being sold on to Ted in 1991/2.

Looks like someone (Lee) has a habit of creating local sports car companies and selling them on for huge profit

actually saw one of these beasts last night, well from about 200ft away but could tell it was the ultima such a distinct shape! wish i was closer would have got a pic of it!

It was a tiger Z1 kit car (locost, 7 style) with 2 kawasaki bike engines...

The ultima isnt a production car either, its a kit..
