My current top 5 shows;

Scrubs
Lost
Desperate Housewives
My Name is Earl
Firefly

So i guess, for me, at the moment; American TV production > UK.

Maybe if they replaced Eastenders + co with new episodes of Top Gear every week of the year, and murdered Simon Cowell (beaten to death with a microphone, ironically).

Then maybe things might even up a bit.

When is the new season kicking off? Last season was hilarious, hardly an episode passed without "Hamster's" teeth being made fun of :p

Not sure.

I remember the last episode of series 7 they said, "We'll be back in the spring"...

So not too long hopefully!

That Winter Olympics episode was awesome, not laughed out loud like that for a while. :D

I think the quality of British TV vs US TV puts the 'British TV is better because of the TV licence' argument to bed entirely. The US has no TV licence but they produce loads of excellent programmes and have done for many years.
