BSOD problem

My friends computer is an old asssss one lol, basically booting up it keeps looping, same with safe mode, i can't even see the windows xp loading screen, I tried to re-install windows but i get the bsod screen, can't even get to the options where i choose which partition etc to install on

from bsod screen can I tell what the problem is?

Looks like the hard drive is on its last legs.

Go onto the hdd manufactures site, and download there diagnostic tool, burn that to a disc and boot from it.
Also download memtest86+ and do the same thing.
