Ok so i was having driver problems with the 5870 and i need to format to make sure its the drivers and not the 5870 itself. My cd drive isnt working god knows why but i made a thread on it and it never got solved so as a quick fix i bought a usb cd-drive which i could use to format with. Plugged it in and booted from it using my mesh XP home SP2 cd and after it had done loading all the drivers and attempted to load setup it just BSOD :S.

Any idea why its going BSOD ?

Certain versions of XP cannot be installed using a USB CD Drive, I was under the imprression SP2 was fine.

Are you the getting Boot Device Not Available (or something similar) stop message?

EDIT: Stop 0x0000007B or INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

Be the code
