BT ADSL Faceplate.

Hey guys,

I’m doing some internal re-wiring atm and I was wondering if it was possible to use a BT ADSL/Phone not on the master socket?

The houses ADSL router is in my room and I currently have a standard face plate with a microfilter.

Would attaching the existing extension cable (blue/white, white/blue) to the new faceplate at points A and B work?

Just thought I’d ask before I start ripping the old stuff out

You could, but it would be mostly pointless. The idea is to separate your extension wiring from the ADSL side.

I get your point, but I'd be doing it purely for cosmetic value

No need for an external filter in my room!
