I'm pretty sure BT are throttling uploads. I am streaming to twitch.tv through xsplit and some days it will be fine but yesterday the stream was limited to around 10kbps upstream which quite frankly isn't even watchable. This isn't even p2p either. Will be rather annoyed if it happens on a regular basis.

Broadcast>right click the channel in the drop down list
On this page, see the location box

Can someone please trust me how to unlock my modem and get the best out of my connection?

I also want to find out how to bypass the stupid throttling on torrentz, I still only get 100kb upload during evening which is no better than my ADSL :'(

getting even better speeds after a few days on infinity.

I do have a strange problem though. I've got an ASUS RT-N56U which is then connected to a gigabit switch and then onto a computer via gigabit. On that computer i only get about 8 down and 10 up via the switch so i guess the switch isnt up to is? It should be though?

Might tell you your cab number & yes it's green. then just walk around your area until you find it.

Thanks for that link.

My cabinet is literally outside my window, it says "FTCC, but not available yet". My friend who is on the same exchange as me, but on a different cabinet 2 roads up from me says that he can get it and that it is in phase 5a announced March 2010.

Why can he get it but not me, despite being on the same exchange? What have they done to his cabinet that they have not done to mine? I really can't see why he can get it but I can't, we are literally 4 mins walk from each other.

I've just checked a few surrounding cabinets and I am cabinet P63, which cannot get BT Infinity, yet every surrounding cabinet on adjacent roads is able to get BT Infinity, seriously what is that about?

Nitram100: What does the BT Infinity checker say?
You can register your interest I think.
Might only be days or weeks away.

Sorry, you're not currently able to get BT Infinity. This may be because your area has not been enabled yet, or your individual line does not support super-fast broadband. Register your interest and we'll let you know if this changes

Registered interest last year if I remember correctly.

Next road over says that it can get BT Infinity 80mb now, it is like my cabinet is the only one in the entire town that isn't able to get Infinity. I am literally surrounded by fibre enabled cabinets, I can see 3 of them from my bedroom window lol.

My cabinet is P65. P63 and P64 can get Infinity now, this is really strange, could it be a database error?
