As above really,

Need to set-up e-mail on someones iphone, they have their e-mails with BT internet, does anyone know if BT supports IMAP and if so what the server is? imap.xxx.xxxx

Im going to set outgoing mail server1 to outgoing imap server and secondary one to their network providers smtp server.

Both mail.btinternet.com and mail.btopenworld.com are SMTP/IMAP/POP3 enabled iirc.

It's probably not accessible from outside of a bt connection though, might be wrong mind.

OK, i added the account on the iphone, at first it was giving me an authentication issue, I realised I had the incorrect username in there, the iphone tested connection and worked.

I went to mail, it tried to send/recieve and then came up with an error saying "cannot contact mail.btconnect.com"

I tried using pop3.btconnect.com but the same message, anyone have any ideas?

Looking at the Iphone website, its saying use

Incoming Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com
Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.o2.co.uk

As the settings, however this user has a business bt account, so uses the domain btconnect.com, should this make any difference?
