    Hi all,

I've recently ordered an Audigy 4 to replace the onboard sound on my mobo. I'll be hooking up my Speedlink Medusa headphones to the Audigy and then my 2.1 speakers through the Speedlink's amp. What i want to know is if i'll be able to connect my monitor speakers to the onboard soundcard with the Audigy installed at the same time or can i only output from one at a time?

The monitor speakers aren't essential but if i can use them, then why not :D

    Thanks in advance ;)

I think that you should be able to use both but not playing the same thing at the same time unless two instances of the same application are run

Thought that would be the case, i guess i would also have to setup the two instances of the applications to output through different hardware?

Oh well, i won't bother with it, too much hassle :D

    Thanks for the reply ;)
