Can someone with know-how just check my proposed wired home network - cheers

right, so...
VM modem > NETGEAR Wireless-N Router WNR2000 > wireless access point on 1st floor + wired connection up to 2nd floor attic room.
And all cables to be patch cat5e including modem to router.
The Netgear WNR2000 looks pretty good to me. Anyone got any other recommendations?

Heh, oddly enough i had the WRT54GS, but gave it to a friend when i installed his network. Guess what i bought as a replacement?
Yep, a WNR2000. To be honest it doesn't broadcast as good a signal as the WRT54GS even though its a draft-N router.
If you have a draft-N capable pc in the far reaches of your house then it may be worth a shot, but i've had to put a wap in downstairs to extend the signal where previously with the WRT54GS i didn't need one. My router is in the loft.....allegedly the best place to put a wifi router.
