^ y'know i was walking past the river by my friends house earlier and there were a load of ducks in it. and i was thinking... they would be good for practise shots and getting used to a camera.

Haha, same. The amount of times I've gone to take a picture and had the shutter not fire. Once, I thought it had 'locked up' so removed the battery and everything. Then I realised. Doh!

Not everyone has the same shape nose though do they. I must admit I can't get it to change with mine but then I can feel my nose pushed against objects.

Good choice. As well as having a slightly higer resolution sensor; bigger screen and more focus points than the 350D it has another- IMO- major advantage: A new plastic surface texture which no longer clings onto any dust in the vicinity !
