Canon LIDE60 Scanner & Dazzel V90 video capture

    Hello,
    I have a canon LIDE 60 scanner and V90 video capture device.
    They do not work at the moment due to a 'TWAIN' Driver problem.
    I have phone Canon helpline, who just keep on advising me to unistall and reload the software.
    I have done this 4 times now, and it still does not work ! :confused:

    They both did work briefly when i first got them, now nothing.
    Though if i remember rightly i was using the V90 before i got the Canon Scanner.
    I was using another scanner BenQ5000, which still works now, even though the canon will not respond at all when i plug it in to the USB port.
    Some i am woundering could it be a windows update problem, ie windows XP pro has update a fix or file that knocks out the TWAIN drivers ! ?

    Any ideas please
