Canon Telephoto Lens.

    Hi. Im looknig tob uy a telephoto lens for my 300D. I have aobut £400 to spend and have been looking at the 70-200mm F4 L.

    However theres also a few sigmas around which offer aorund 300mm.

    Can any one recomend me some lenses.

    I'd recommend that you also look at the 70-300 IS USM. It's not as well built as the 70-200L, but the image quality is very close and there is much dispute about which is actually better.

    Also you get the extra 100mm (or 160mm in reality) and the IS which is worth 3 stops in low light.
