Car park bump

Just had a very, very low speed impact with 2 of us reversing out car parking spaces at the same time (although it was the other guys fault as he reversed whilst I was already moving).

We both got out and it looked like minimal damage, slight scrape on bumper and not cracked so I just let him get on his way.

However I'm now thinking that I should get it thoroughly checked by a qualified engineer and not just some bodywork guy looking to make a quick buck as the whole chassis might be bent out of shape.

Thoughts?

A light car park bump won't have twisted the chassis out of shape! :p
But it can twist or break something

A few years ago a fiesta front wheel hit the rear corner of my RX8 at very low speed while i was parked and something on the fiesta twisted or broke as they couldn't drive afterwards

I was rear ended at some 30mph and the chassis was untouched. I can't see how a low speed carpark bump could even breathe on the chassis :p
