How abouts going Italian. The 20v na should be similar, if not a bit better in the performance stakes, and it will certainly give her the feeling that she's driving something 'special'. Plus as an owner I can tell you the standard suspension setup is very soft compared to other cars I've driven. The seats are also like lounge chairs. :p

This one's for sale right now.

If she were going italian, then she could get an Alfa GTV Cup. Not sure what the ride is like though, and I'm not going to pass comment on the reliability. But it will sound nice, and I think they look very smart :p

Quite right. However they are a lot less roomy than the fiat, and they have virtually no boot. Especially for a car about the same size.

think the main problem with the celica is the suspension - its a seriously harsh ride so just changing the seats proberbly won't work :(

100% fact, i've thought of ditching mine cos i suffer from back pain. i had it before i got the celica but it doesnt help that i live on a road with 8 speed bumps, from what i hear the 190/TS has stiffer suspension than the 140 too

on the flip side i do like the feedback you get from the car, you can throw it around a bit and know exactly whats goin on
