Changing icons associated with files?

    Does anyone know how I can change the icons associated with the MP3 and M3U extentions?

    I open them with Foobar but they still use the crappy WMP icon.

    Location: Normally in Bed Sleeping

    open explorer > tools > folder options > file types tab > select the extention of the file type you wish to change > click advanced > change icon

    Yeah, I done that but the icons won't change.

    Tried right clicking the icon - click 'change' then choose foobar?

    You could try rebuilding your icon cache. Tweakui for windows XP from Microsoft - has a "rebuild icon cache" option under "repair." It is part of their free (and unsupported) power toys pack.

    What's it under in TweakUI? Can't find rebuild icon cache anywhere.

    EDIT: No matter, found it.
