I am currently upgrading my pc and I have everything purchased but the RAM. The primary use of this pc will be for gaming.

My upgraded pc will have the following hardware:

Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B450M-A

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X

GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 6GB

I am looking for 2x8GB of DDR4 RAM, this is more a budget build and thus I have no need for over spending for little performance gain. I am looking at the difference between 2400, 2666, 3000 and 3200 MHz RAM, however find the frequencies useless without the corresponding latencies. Does anyone have a similiar build or any idea on the RAM I should consider buying.

Thanks for the help.

Get some of the Team Group Vulcan 3000MHz stuff, about £120 and a lot of it is Samsung B-die IC's. Works just fine with Ryzen boards and you should be able to tighten the timings nicely.
