I want to build a new PC for my son as his current pc is +- 10 years old (i5 750, HD 7850) so I’m just in the early planning stage. It’s main use will be Halo, hopefully it’s released before Christmas and maybe Modern warfare as well if he wants it.
I don’t need the most expensive components as we won’t be overclocking it and I want to keep costs down a bit if I can. I was tempted to go for a 5700xt for around 100 more than the 1660ti but not sure if it will be overkill for halo? Am planning on getting a 24” 1080p 144hz monitor.
Is there any new stuff coming out before Christmas I should be aware of that I should wait for?
Here’s a quick spec I did -
