@NVP that’s lovely, never knew you had one of those.

Not sure if this counts; it’s definitely classic in terms of age, but not in terms of rarity or value :p

@geekman #badmantings

I can't tell if the yute is very small or the wall is tall? haha :) what's in it?

Truck is pretty big, but not as big as the new ones. Maybe about the same size as a current model Ranger? The wall is our new neighbours, they have a huge villa type construction behind it so they built it very high - I guess they don’t want people looking in.

That's neat! Any upgrades at all or planning to keep it stock? Given the wheels, is that an LE?

I've changed the paint to x-power grey, and it's got a computerised distributor, k&n's and a full exhaust system. My dream is to supercharge it, but other than that, nothing else. Yes it's an LE :) Also needs a full carpet, so I might go for silver/grey just to brighten it up inside.

If I can get the MGB, and the Mini all back together, I'll use them both for work, and part ways with the Disco. Hopefully the money from that will pay for the supercharger :D

Does this count?

(Only pic I've got on my laptop - 1991 E34 535i Sport)
That looks tidy, I've been on a hunt for a 540i in black with manual, mission impossible...

I would post my cars, but I would refer to them as young timers rather than classics. :p

Lovely stuff mate, nice to see other VW people on here. My car got in Volksworld too back in the day, (still got it somewhere), plus VW Trends, Ultra VW and was shot for Hot VWs but I didn't ever see it unfortunately.

When I think of the cash that I poured into it I shudder.

Nice one, clean, bet it sounds lovely and lumpy! How old is it?

You want to know about noise? Mine has a huge pipe from the 3.4 straight out the back with nothing in-beteeen, it's literally the loudest car I've ever heard... can't really drive it since the amp to my sub died :D

It's 42 years old, it does indeed sound great, although it's not the most relaxing for long journeys!

I can imagine yours must sound ridiculous - I have a friend with a straight piped V10 M5 and it's probably the loudest car I've ever heard.
